Don'ts>>> 5 Things You Shouldn't Do In Order To Lose Weight
These days more and more people are looking for quick weight loss
solutions. However, unlike the previous generation, the current
generation wants to lose weight in a healthy way as well. People
have become aware that fad diets that are supposed to help one lose
weight quickly harm their bodies in more ways than one. When it
comes to weight loss, you need to follow certain do's and don'ts. In
this article I will give you some tips that would help you lose
weight quickly as well as healthily.
1. Don't go out on an empty stomach: Whenever you go out, make sure
your stomach is full. Don't ever go out without eating anything. If
you do then you will feel tempted to eat once you catch the sight of
delicacies outside. While these delicacies will certainly help fill
up your stomach, those calorie-rich foods will increase your body
fat and you will gain more weight than you had initially bargained
for!
2. Don't forget to eat breakfast: A breakfast is as important as
having a dinner; but very few people have a healthy breakfast. Make
sure you have your breakfast at the start of the day and also that
it consists of healthy and nutritious foods. Some people eat fruits
at breakfast which is also good for your health.
3. Don't eat more than three meals per day: Some people would
suggest you otherwise, but in my opinion, eating too many short
meals per day will only cause indigestion because you are not giving
your digestive system the time it needs to digest the food you have
just consumed. On the other hand, eating one large meal at the end
of the day is harmful as it adds up to your body's calorie count
without giving your body a chance to burn the calories. As such,
eating no more than three meals per day seems to be the best bet.
4. Don't count calories: Some people, especially those who follow
fad diets such as Atkins diet or the South Beach diet, tend to count
every calorie that they consume. That is too bad! You are
preoccupying your mind with the thought that you have been deprived
of something you want so badly, just because you are overweight. If
you constantly think of the deprivation you will feel hungry all the
time and your desire to eat the delicious, junk foods will only
increase, thereby worsening your situation. For best results, don't
count your calories. Just make sure that you eat home-cooked meals
and eat well until you feel hungry. Home-cooked meals have lower
amount of calories than restaurant food and as such, won't kill you!
5. Don't forget to exercise: Last but not the least, remember that
the surefire way to burn calories is to exercise. Exercise doesn't
mean that you have to spend hours on end at your local gym. However,
you need to stick with your exercise schedule and do it regularly
even if it is just for fifteen minutes per day. Skipping exercise
even for one day can prove harmful for you.
